October 24th, 2005 — General Technology
This is interesting. The Flock browser installed easily on my Powerbook, and this post comes less than 10 minutes after downloading the binaries.
There are two boxes on the right edge of the posting window that have my attention, but I haven’t yet figured out the purpose of either. One is in the upper right corner & contains the greyed-out text “Drag stuff to blog it!”. The other is a smaller box adjacent to the main posting area, but it is completely blank.
October 23rd, 2005 — Blogging
I’ve just installed Flock and am composing this post in a not-too-shabby editor. Looks kinda classy, with a nice polished metal skin in the header.
There are two buttons in the top right corner - ‘Save as Draft’ and ‘Publish’. Lets’ see if they function.
October 8th, 2005 — Business Development, Source Control
Development of Freepository Premium Edition is progressing well. The primary mechanism for allowing members to subscribe has been implemented & tested, and the additional tools integrate nicely with the new member dashboard. This makes Freepository a full Software Development Management (SDM) Portal providing remotely implemented, securely accessible development infrastructure.
