I’m sitting on the plane wondering whether I can blog from my Treo using its web browser.
I suppose it is obvious that it did work. I’m very familiar with the usual way of blogging from your mobile device (moblogging) via email, but I have never tried opening the ‘write post’ page directly on the Treo and giving it a whirl.
Though it was a bit clumsy finding the text box in which to thumb-peck my post, it did function exactly as expected. I run my own Wordpress site here, and know that I haven’t done anything special to it to accept mobile postings. It just works, so that’s a great endorsement of either Wordpress’ use of clean javascript or the Treo’s clean rendering of it… or both.
The notion of moblogging is only now appealing to me, as I’m entering a very busy phase w/ freepository and will need to squeeze the blogging into an ever-diminishing slice of unallocated time.
Kinda cool.
