Flock, 1001 and Flickr

I’ve uploaded some pics to Flickr in advance of testing Flock’s integration with it. While I don’t want to blog simply to ‘feature-test’, I do intend to make better use of the broader range of blogging tools.

Flickr linked 1001 on their upload page; I quickly installed it & used it to drag-n-drop photos directly from iPhoto onto the 1001 icon in the Dock.

Using 1001 is dead simple (I don’t read manuals). Once I drop the photo, an intuitive interface opens that allows me to describe, tag, preview and upload the photo. This was incredibly intutive, which is very important for me because… I don’t read manuals.
My%20commute That’s a photo of my commute… for those that know me, they’ll appreciate the <lame> attempt at humor. It was easily (and intuitively) dragged from the Topbar’s ‘My Photos’ lineup, which shows all of my Flickr photos. (very, very nice.)

How well does the text wrap around the photo? Does it wrap at all? As I’m blogging this in the Flock editor window, it doesn’t appear to wrap at all, but that may simply be that I don’t know how to make it wrap… and I don’t read, well.. you know. Do you?

All in all, I have to give Flock (and 1001 too) a thumbs up. I suppose I should mention something kind about Flickr as well, but I’ve run out of ink.
