After abandoning the AJAX approach (never did get it to render properly in IE), we took the classic approach: use of universally recognized images for various actions. We implemented the new menu scheme today.
The new menu uses the images in place of the text that was previously there. We have members from around the globe, and this is a good step toward making the system language-neutral. Tooltips are used to alert the user to the function of each of the images; look for localized tooltips soon. We hope you enjoy the improvements.
