Development of Freepository Premium Edition is progressing well. The primary mechanism for allowing members to subscribe has been implemented & tested, and the additional tools integrate nicely with the new member dashboard. This makes Freepository a full Software Development Management (SDM) Portal providing remotely implemented, securely accessible development infrastructure.

Everyone has been bitten at least once over the years when a critical system crashes… and you have no backup. Since I run a production site used by thousands of people across the globe daily, being unprepared like that is simply not an option for me.

Today I received a well articulated email from one of my freepository members. In it, he basically said the new UI sucked. Of course, he was polite about it and didn’t use those words exactly, but the gist was this: it was far better before, why did you fsck it up?
